It was built on the banks of the Dirang River more than 500 years ago. This Buddhist architect house walls are made of stones. Dirang dzong’s view is startling, though it is tribal area.
Sangti Valley
People also come for the Sangti valley. It is 7 km away from Dirang. The Sangti Valley is beyond description. You will see this area is surrounded in dense forests, rivers and eastern Himalayan ranges. Many migratory birds are also seen, which come from China, Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal.A hot water spring with sulphur in it, flowing from a nearby hills. People enjoy the spring by taking a bath in it.
